Angela Hobson injured herself while stripping at the Shangri-La West club in Fort Wayne on 20 December 2001. She suffered neck pain and numbness from an injury and got surgery for a herniated disc in her cervical spine (the seven vertebrae at the base of the skull).
That seventh vertebrae was worth $10,000 according to the state Worker's Compensation Board who tipped Ms Hobson $10,000 for her troubles at the Shangri-La! Even stripper's have rights too you know!
