Focus Media Faces Competition, Baidu Employee Killed

Focus Media faces increasing competition according to Sage Brennan. The newest competitor is state-owned enterprise, Beijing All Media and Culture Group (BAMC), which operates the "CityTV" LCD advertising network.

Is the movie business next for Focus Media?

Baidu employee was killed in the office in February according to the company. Apparently, a female employee who was working late was raped by a Baidu security guard.

Baidu is accused of click fraud by a cancer research clinic. According to a report, Baidu internally boosted the click volume to the client's website. Traffic increased 12 fold but business did not. The client spent several million dollars with Baidu.

China to regulate online video which could put it under control of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) which could put pressure on Tudou, UUME, Yoqoo, Wangyou.

New Oriental, China's largest test preparation company, will list on Nasdaq.
New Oriental was even found guilty at one point of copyright infringement for copying test papers.
